About Us

Dan Teter loves building homes. It was his dream as a child to play
on tractors in the dirt. He is living his dream and wants to help you
live yours!

A native of the mountain communities, Dan Teter grew up in Green
Valley Lake, CA with his father, Paul Teter (whom sold real estate in
Green Valley Lake) and his mother, Grace (who was the Green Valley
Lake Postmaster), along with his 2 sisters and brother.
Dan volunteered with the US Forestry Service as a young boy,
initially helping them cut down dead trees after school and later
fighting fires in the mountain communities. In his spare time he also
worked for the county of San Bernardino during the winter months
plowing snow filled roads.

He began living his dream in the early 70's, building log cabins in the
Running Springs area. This ignited the passion within him to build
homes.

At the age of 20, Dan joined the US Army and was stationed in
Killeen, Texas. As a Sergeant in the Army, he was a heavy equipment
operator. ( Still building his dream)

While serving his country, he married his high school sweetheart,
Yvonne Baker and they lived in Texas until their first daughter
Steffanie was born.

Dan and his wife, Yvonne along with their daughter, Steffanie, moved
back to California and resided in the Crestline area for a few years.
There he owned and operated a gas station in Crestline.

He decided to settle down with his wife, daughter and now son, Dan
Randall in the city of Highland.

His love for the mountains would never be quenched, and in 1998,
Dan and his wife, Yvonne decided to move back to the mountains
and now reside in the Running Springs area in a log cabin that Dan
built for his wife.

Dan enjoys outdoor sports included boating and fishing. He is
surrounded by 4 grandchildren who share his passion for playing on
the water and spending lazy afternoons fishing on Big Bear Lake.

Dan and his wife, Yvonne purchased the family real estate office from
his father-in-law, Bill Baker, and now proudly own and operate
Century 21 Bill Baker Realty, Inc, located in the heart of downtown
Running Springs.
