Dan Teter has been a resident on the San Bernardino Mountain Communities for many years,
and does he have some great stories to share! Dan was a little boy when his parents, Paul and
Grace Teter decided to move from Tujunga, California to their new home in Green Valley
Lake, California. Dan's father built their family home and while doing this, they spent the first
couple of years up here living in tents. The winters must have been rough!
Dan's father, Paul was a real estate agent in Green Valley Lake and his mother, Grace was the
Postmaster of the small Green Valley Lake Post Office.
When Dan turned 18, he joined the U.S. Army and was stationed in Ft. Hood, Texas. He
married his girlfriend, Yvonne Baker of Running Springs. Dan and Yvonne lived in Texas for a
couple of years where they welcomed their first child together, their daughter Steffanie.
Dan and Yvonne moved back to California after his time in the service was up and they
welcomed another child, a son named Dan Randall.

parents, lived in Running Springs and operated a real estate office in the 1960's. Bill worked with ROWCO (Rim of
the World Company) and subdivided half of the town of Running Springs. Dan was excited to join the family real
estate team. Through out the years not only has Dan sold Real Estate in the mountain communities, he has also
built many spec homes. His experience in both building and real estate is part of what makes him the "go-to Broker"
in the area!
In his free time, Dan enjoys fishing with his grandson in the Northern Sierra's. Dan and Yvonne both enjoy going out
to dinner in Big Bear, they have a few favorite places to go, as well as shopping for antiques!

Steffanie is the daughter of Dan and Yvonne Teter, grand daughter of Bill Baker. To
say that real estate is in her blood may be a correct assumption.
Steffanie was born in Texas where she lived for a couple of years before her parents
moved back to California. Steffanie grew up in the town of Highland, California and
frequently visited the mountain communities growing up as her grand parents lived
in Running Springs.
Steffanie married her best friend, Patrick Miller, and together they have 4 children
and 1 grandson. Patrick and Steffanie moved to Running Springs in May 2000. They
raised their children in the mountains and have become vital parts of the community.
Steffanie joined the family real estate team in 2002 when she received her real
estate license. She was a natural and so eager to learn everything about real estate
but also everything about the Mountain communities. Working closely with her
grandpa, Bill Baker and side by side with her dad, Dan Teter, she has learned so
much and is so eager to share her knowledge with her clients!
